Open Records-Sunshine Law

Open Records provides a mechanism for citizens to inspect or copy government records. It also provides for times in which governmental bodies may elect to, or are required by law to, withhold government records from the public. The City of Pilot Grove supports a transparency within our local government. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us by email or phone.

Contact Lori Vollrath, City Clerk and Custodian of Records. All requests must be in writing. For your convenience a form is provided below.

The Missouri Sunshine Law requires that each request to access public records be responded to no later than the end of the third business day following the date the request is received; please note that the City Clerk may be away from City Hall on leave when your request is dropped off. Your request will be processed no later than 3 days after it physically received by the City Clerk.
